Botswana agate, as you would see from my range of products, is my favorite agate. I have had the pleasure of personally experiencing one of the properties of this gemstone. When I look at and touch this natural agate I am overwhelmed by feelings of calmness and serenity. I am astounded by the natural mix of colors that all blend in nicely. There is a range of colors from pink to purple, brown to orange, grays, and blues (colors vary with each stone) in dark, medium, and light tones.

Structure and Availability
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may discolor agate. Care should therefore be taken when wearing such jewels. After use, agate should be gently cleaned with a soft cloth to avoid a buildup of residue, and should be stored in its own container to avoid being scratched by harder gems.
I use natural Botswana agate that has been polished to a super glossy finish in earrings, bracelets, pins, and necklaces. Botswana agate can be worn with everyday casual, semi-casual, work, and or special gatherings ensemble.
I have paired Botswana agate with Black onyx, white coral, Moroccan agate, as well as Czech crystals.
